Dismissal at end of probationary period letter
When dismissing a staff member at the end of a probationary period, the employer will need to send the employee a letter stating that their employment was subject to the satisfactory completion of a probationary period. You must also state that you have been monitoring their performance and conduct and list the reasons why you have decided to terminate their employment.
The employee should be given the right to appeal against the decision to terminate.
