Following our previous update which introduced new features including employee statistic reports that are available directly from your dashboard and holiday summary emails, we are pleased to have released even more updates and new features. 

Switch Staff Member Navigation

Whether you are amending holiday allowances or reviewing employee files, you can now do so much more efficiently by navigating directly to the next staff member’s profile. Simply open the new dropdown menu located on each profile and either select or type in the name of the user you would like to direct yourself to. It’s really that easy!

Sticky Taskbar

Before now, you’d lose sight of your taskbar as you scrolled down a page and would need to scroll all the way back up to navigate to areas such as your Company Settings or the Knowledge Base

We’ve made that a thing of the past with an all-new ‘sticky’ taskbar that scrolls with you as you move down the page, meaning that you will no longer need to go looking for it to perform basic tasks.

Start/Stop Timer 

You can now find your start/stop timer button at the top of your page. It’s now pinned to your taskbar throughout Staff Squared, so you will never have to leave a page to start recording your time again. Perfect for when you’re working on goals or managing other areas you need to time yourself for.

Add Client

An all-new ‘add client’ button has been added to your Clients and Projects page, meaning that you can create a new client without the need to first add a new project, as was previously required. Create one client or multiple at one time.

And More…

  • A search bar is now available on your Clients and Projects page, meaning that you no longer have to scroll to find the project you’re looking for. 
  • Timesheets are now ordered by the most recent entry showing at the top, allowing for more efficient time recording. 
  • Styling changes have been made to time tracking. 
  • ‘Other’ and ‘Event’ have been switched around in the calendar pop-up.
  • Projects are now ordered by Client in the Clients and Projects page.  

Coming soon!

In the coming weeks and months, we are turning our attention to even more improvements to Staff Squared – you can expect to see a string of updates to custom absence ordering, easier filtration of departments when setting up an iCal feed and other general maintenance to make your Staff Squared experience smoother and more enjoyable. Two-factor authentication will also be making its Staff Squared debut in Summer 2019. Watch this space for more information.
