The year might be drawing to a close, but we are still hard at work to bring even more improvements and exciting new features to Staff Squared.
Due to popular demand, we have introduced a new report that covers staff’s birthdays, more holiday restriction options and the ability to record disciplinary action.
You can now run a report on your employees’ birthdays. This new report displays each user’s date of birth and age as well as the number of days until their next birthday.
Set more granular holiday restrictions by blocking out time in your company calendar for blocked holiday periods.
Blocked periods will be flagged up in your company calendar with a tooltip available to advise staff as to why they are not able to take holiday off during this time.
NB: Staff will still be able to request absences and these can be approved, but the requests will be flagged up with their approving manager with a warning.
We are pleased to welcome Company Links – a Dashboard widget that allows you to link to external company pages such as your website or tools required to work effectively within the business.
Create links to share with everyone in your company or grant access to specific employees.
Admins and line managers can now record disciplinary actions for staff. Select one of our default warning types including ‘informal’, ‘written – first’ and ‘written – final’ warnings or add custom warning types to reflect your disciplinary process.
NB: Staff will only be able to see this section under their Job tabs if action has been recorded. If they have no disciplinary information recorded, this will not be visible to them.
In the coming weeks, you can expect to see the addition of company trends, which will give you an insight to the averages of other companies across Staff Squared so that you can compare statistics on information including:
- Pulse scores
- Staff turnover
- Average employment length
- Average holiday allowance
- Average lateness
We will also be implementing two-factor authentication very soon, so watch this space for more updates.
