We’ve sure been busy this month; only a week since our last update and we already have a May update part 2…

Staff expiry dates

If you hire contractors it’s handy to keep track of when their contract ends. You can now use the termination date feature to do this. Just set the termination date to the contract end date and you’ll get a dashboard notification and email reminder telling you when the contract is nearly up.

Event reminders

When adding events to your calendar you can now ask to be reminded about the event before the event takes place. You can also select how far in advance you’d like to be reminded. A day, a week, a month? The choice is yours.

Not only that, you can select who you want to receive the reminder, whether it’s just you, all admins, all admins and managers, only staff that are attending the event, or absolutely everybody!

Private events

You now have the option to create private events too. These are exactly the same as normal events, you add them to your calendar in exactly the same way, the only exception is that only people who are invited to the event will be able to see it.

Appraisal reminder list

On your appraisal page you’ll see we’ve added an appraisals due list. This will make it much easier for you to see who is due an appraisal. It’s very important to keep on top of your appraisals, so we think this is a great addition to Staff Squared.

As always, if you have any ideas that you think will improve Staff Squared, head over to our forum and let us know.
